Thank you, Kate, for your feedback! * So grateful to the Las Vegas Ticket Attorney office. My boyfriend had two moving violations from when we were visiting Las Vegas last spring and one of them had gone into warrant. Mark, Jenny, and Stephanie all helped us through the process. They were so on top of everything every step of the way. We really appreciate the follow-up phone calls during the times we requested. My boyfriend was nervous about trusting a Vegas Law Office way from out in NYC where we live, but it all came together without any blips. Thanks guys!! Kate M. * To read more client reviews, click...
Las Vegas Work Zone Traffic Tickets: Safety in Construction Zones

Las Vegas Work Zone Traffic Tickets: Safety in Construction Zones

Las Vegas Work Zone Traffic Tickets Means Double The Penalty The U.S. Department of Transportation reports that work zone fatalities claim three lives daily in the United States. It may surprise that, more than 80% of these fatalities are not the workers, but are the drivers and passengers of the motor vehicles. Fast fact: a car driving at 60 miles per hour travels 88 feet per second, so, if you are driving 60 miles per hour past a sign that reads: “Road Work Ahead”, you will reach that work zone is just 17 seconds. It is understandable that drivers become frustrated when they must unexpectedly slow down due to Las Vegas construction delays, Las Vegas construction zone work, and other unforeseen holdups, but it’s important to remember that these instances are not there to inconvenience you; they are a necessary part of improving the Las Vegas roadways for future easy and flow of traffic. So, give yourself extra time during your commute so that you do not feel rushed when you are attempting to reach your final destination. Remember: Nevada law DOUBLES the penalty for speeding in a construction zone or speeding in a work zone, so you may end up paying up to $1,000 for a traffic ticket in Las Vegas. If you have already recently received such a ticket, and you would like the opportunity to discuss your options with an experienced attorney, call our Ticket Office today at (702) 382-2000....

Undocumented Youths May Soon Be Able To Get Nevada Licenses

Children and teens who were brought to the United States illegally by their parents may no longer have to suffer the consequences of their parents’ choices. Up until recently, Latino youths were not allowed to apply for Nevada Driver’s Licenses due to the fact that they were ‘undocumented aliens.’ However, a new order is being set in place that will make it easier for these youths to find work, get into schools, and, of course, drive. President Obama has set into motion new federal guidelines that halts the deportation of these youths and allows them to apply for work permits. As of now, California, Georgia, and Oregon are the only states that allow these youths to apply for licenses. Mississippi and Arizona, on the other hand, have passed strict laws that prevent these individuals from becoming licensed by the state. In Nevada, those who qualify by the new federal guidelines, will not be able to become permanent legal residents, however, they will be able to lead more ‘livable’ lives here in the states. To be eligible, individuals must be under 31 years old, have come to the U.S. before their 16th birthday, have graduated or are attending school, and have been in the U.S. for five years. More drivers on the street will inevitable result in more tickets, so, if you or someone you know has had the experience of being pulled over and give a Las Vegas Speeding Ticket or Las Vegas traffic ticket call the office of Attorney Mark Coburn today for a free quote and information on how to keep your record clean. Distracted Driving Not Just Limited to Texts

Though the uprising of ‘texting-related’ Las Vegas Traffic Ticketscannot be denied, there are a multitude of other ticketable offenses that fall under the category of “Distracted Driver.” In short, anything that takes the driver’s attention off the road and onto something else is an offense worthy of a costly ticket and points on your Nevada driving record. These offenses include but are not limited to: eating while driving, self-grooming while driving, turning to the back seat to silence a noisy child, fumbling around with your radio or MP3 player, turning to talk to the passenger next to you, flipping through a magazine or book while driving, etc. Please keep your eyes on the road whenever you are behind the wheel. It doesn’t take much for an accident to occur—and during that half second you look down to check the weather, grab something from your purse, or wipe the crumbs off your slacks—an unexpected obstacle could have appeared in front of you on the road. It’s not just your own driving you must remain focused on; it’s the driving of all the other individuals on the road. Remain defensive, alert, and ready to respond at all times. This is the only way to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you. If you are facing charges for distracted driving, driving while texting, or any other Las Vegas Traffic Offense, contact the Las Vegas Ticket Attorney Law Office today for a free quote and related information.
